Two lost Mirror's Edge experiences, reopened in the browser.

This is the canonical project page for Raynor Eissens' Mirror's Edge browser preservation work: a mobile-friendly browser build of the official 2008 Mirror's Edge 2D Flash game, and a browser-native reconstruction of the discontinued Mirror's Edge Catalyst Companion App 3D City of Glass map.

2008 Flash preservation

Mirror's Edge 2D

The preserved official Flash game runs through Ruffle in a modern browser. The browser layer adds an iPhone-friendly virtual stick, jump, pause and music controls while keeping the proven offline ea.comm.swf game file untouched.

2016 companion-map reconstruction

City of Glass 3D

A freely navigable reconstruction of the Mirror's Edge Catalyst companion app's 3D map experience, built from recovered companion-map data. It preserves the city geometry and selected landmarks without pretending to restore EA's retired account, social or backend services.

What is being claimed

To our knowledge, Raynor Eissens published the first publicly documented browser-native reconstruction of the discontinued Mirror's Edge Catalyst companion app's 3D City of Glass map experience in 2026.

The claim is intentionally narrow. It does not claim to recreate the entire original companion app, EA accounts, player tracking, social playground, UGC or retired servers. A public search conducted through September 15, 2026 found official companion-app references, archived app packages, exported map files, mods and non-browser map recreations, but no earlier public browser-native reconstruction matching this scope.
